stock fogs bulb size - Honda Prelude Forum

for those of you with 5 gens with the stock fogs, (the circular ones) , do u know what the bulb size is?? i want to replace my bulbs with xenon ones...

I think they're H3 but I could be wrong.

yes they are h3, and the jdm ones are h3c

now i have a question of my own, stock h3 bulbs for the usdm ones are at 55 watts, i have some h3 bulbs that are 100 watts, will they melt the housing? thanks!

unfortunatly they will melt both the housing and the harness.

nop never tried it and never will but a number of members who used a higher wattage bulbs melted their housing like there's no tommorrow.

does this apply to the headlight bulbs as well? ive used higher wattage bulbs and i've had no problem....

also does anyone know how to change the bulbs for the fogs?
