Are Stock CAM gears marked for TDC

My car has symptoms of bad timing. I called Honda and they said that in order to chekc the timing I need a timing light. Is this true? I think the timing belt may have slipped a tooth or something. I want to check the cars mechanical timing, if its good its time to go back for a retune.

You don't need a timing light to measure cam timing. A timing light is for ignition timing, which should not be on your list if you suspect tbelt issues first.

Yes, the gears and crank pulley are marked for timing. Make sure those are aligned first.
