Start up problem - Honda Prelude Forum

Ok, so i have a 99 SH and recently i have had trouble starting it. It does this, ghi ghi ghi ghi ghi ghi ghi ghi ghi (best way i know how to spell it) thing for about 2 or 3 seconds, then it will start. Does anyone know what could be causing this? It doesn't happen all the time just every now and then.

Same here...i think my batter is just gettin old...i have a small system and its the original battery...so im assuming thats my prob.

I think mine is the original battery, i ahve a pretty small system with a 200 watt amp powering my 6.5's and my 6x9's. I'll go to autozone and get it checked out.
