Standard temperature in hot weather

So I was thinking my thermostat was toast as my car was getting a little hotter than I was ok with(sometimes up as far as 220) although the in-cluster temp guage never seemed to read very hot but I have an aftermarket one too so I can get an accurate read. I swapped tstats and now have a new 170* one and it seemed to get up as high as about 200, maybe 205 and am wondering is this still too hot or on a hot day is this considered ok? I also am turbo'd too so I am thinking between the air passing throuhg the intercooler and then through the condenser before it gets to the radiator this may be the cause. I had worried about head gasket too but at normal highway speeds it seems to drop to about 190 even with the A/C blasting and I get no white smoke or coolant in my oil (changed the oil today too) so I think this is unlikely. Any thoughts?

Is your coolant properly mixed? Is the radiator cap holding all the pressure it should? If not the temp will be higher.

H4L I used a pre-mixed 50/50 coolant and distilled water, approximately equal parts and a bottle of water wetter so it's going to be roughly a 75/25 (75 water 25 coolant) split plus water wetter which I have used in other cars and gotten good results with. I think the higher temps are normal and just a result of having and intercooler/condenser/radiator occupying the same space.

Kronn thats what I was thinking but I want to see if other people see similar temps who may not be turbo'd (i.e. no intercooler) which would mean that things are 'working as expected'. Other turbo guys might see the same too which is what I am curious about.
