SUp man!

Welli was wondering the same thing. But i doubt the dealer will do that. Since they get $$ from HONDA for the warranty and the parts they will not invest money into something they need to work extra on.

I was wondering that if my tranny ever gave out i would have loved for the dealer to pay for the cost of the LEVEL 10 tranny or at least their parts that i would put in the rebuilt tranny.
YOu guys think a dealer will go for that?
Also if the trany does give out....do they give you a new tranny or a rebuilt one. Also... how much you think thats worth?? a new SS tranny VS. a level 10 complete tranny?

well i hope someone will answer my question, if my transmission does give out, will they provide me with a new 5psd instead of a uto tranny? and since they wont want to install it id just goto some other place and get it installed.

I would guess not since it would not only require a manual tranny but also a console, guage pod, ECU to name a few items. Not sure what else it would require but it is not cheap.

If a 6-speed swap were available, my guess is that 50% of the people here would have already done it. And no, I don't think that a dealership would swap you a 5-speed for a SS--it has something to do with where their warranty money comes from.
