No problem, bro, I figured these pics would help some people out. The installation is fairly easy and requires only simple tools. Removing the spring hose clamps on the piece of hose that is between the tranny return pipe and the nipple on the radiator is a small PITA, requiring pliers, nimble hands, and patience. Also, as DY101 states in his writeup, rotating the radiator nipple is a must, and requires a 19 mm end wrench. I rotated mine out a little less than 180 degrees countrer-clockwise.
As can be seen in the pics, I removed the bumper and the stone shield for easy accessibility.

No, this is not a mod that you would perform on a manual tranny.
i just put a fluidyne tranny cooler and the shifts are firmer. i mounted mine between the a/c condenser and the radiator. i hardly use the a/c except when it rains. i found it hard to find a place to mount it in front because of the power steering cooler and all of the a/c's plumbing. the fluidyne has the input/output on the side, unlike the one above which is on top. i do think this is a great mod because it may increase the reliability of the fragile 5th gen automatic.

beware of the pop-ups!!
mine isnt big but its silver..i think i paid like $$30~40 for it, i dont remember
If it's only $30-40, i think this would be a really good investment. Better safe than sorry. I'd rather spend $30-40 than $3000+ for a new tranny. Can you guys post all the info on where to get the tranny cooler?
i bought mine from www.optauto.com but you can go to any auto parts store and get one. from what i hear, hayden makes a good one as well as b&m. summit sells them too. it's a universal item so there shouldn't be a fitment problem.

Any possibility to take pics of where do the rubber hoses come from and what 'nipple' thing you had to twist.
I been wanting to do this to my car for a long long time...but didnt have to balls to do it. But i feel mighty confident now so i wanna do it.

why did u take off the bumper though U could've just unbolted the grill and went for that approach
I actually took the bumper off because I was planning on also installing an oil cooler kit. I attempted that install today. It did not go well, and the kit is not on the car. The kit I bought is going to need some tender lovin' modification to get it to work. Incidently, I am glad I did take the bumper off. It made installing the tranny cooler a lot easier, imo, than it would have been with it on. And the bumper wasn't hard to remove or reinstall

First, please take the pics out of the quote of my original post. Doing so will reduce the load time of the thread, making it 56K friendly for the less fortunate
I could try to get my camera up in there and snap a pic, but it might not come out that well because it is a tight squeeze. Basically, the line you are looking for to tap into for the tranny cooler is located on the radiator. Specifically, it is on the aft, driver side, bottom corner of the radiator. The line begins with a small length of hose connected to the nipple on the radiator. This line runs towards the passenger side, towards the transmission. The other end of the hose is connected to a metal pipe, which then continues to the tranny. If you look down the back of the radiator from above you will see this line running from the driver side lower corner and along the bottom edge of the radiator.
My suggestion to everyone is that if you are going to do any work on your car, invest in a Helm manual. http://www.helminc.com
