squeakiness

...so when I push down on my front driver side area near the tire, I hear a loud creaking sound. It's almost the same sound I mentioned a while back with my drive shaft. Could the two sounds be related or are they same sound? hmmm...

Is this a sign of a worn out spring or shock? Can this be remedied by lube or anything?

Any other suggestions?

Do I just replace the bushings, or do I have to replace the entire suspension?

Several things come to mind here. First-the mileage and how the car is driven are a factor. I also would think the stiffness of the springs is also to be considered. With those things in the loop, one can then begin to diagnose.
Let us assume that you have stock everything and 100k on the odometer. Ther is a chance that the upper control arm anchor bolt bushings are worn-easy to determine by a qualified alignment shop. The same holds true for the lower arms and sway bar bushings. The shock mounts are a bit more involved as are the spring mounting pads.
If on the other hand you have a modified suspension the situation can be more complicated. The reason is that the rubber pads for the upper spring mounts are designed for stock springs and can wear differently, mainly with stiffer "race" springs. If you are lowered more than a small amount like I am then the issues are even more complicated for daily driven cars.
Pressing down on only one side and having had an issue with another part is a complicating factor in itself. Are you absolutely certain that that corner has never taken any kind of hit that could bind the Radius rod and its bushings. Again an alignment shop can help with all of these possibilities. Do you have a failed shock-could be and if so replace both front ones and realign.

There have been numerous threads about squeaking and creaking with Honda cars. If you have ANY poly bushings anywhere on the car and they are not lubricated routinely-you will have these noises. Our CRX is bushed this way and ther is little we can do about it. It is a given that winter weather seems to bring this issue out as well.
Hope this points you in the right direction. Again make sure that nothing is binding anywhere in the suspension for any reason. NO-you will not need a complete rebuild.

Thanks for the help. Just to clarify... Bone stock 01 with 85K. Had one fender bender 2 years ago, minimal damage (just cracked the front bumper). Thanks again.

Sounds like one of your stabalizer bar bushings that is in the U bracket. They are easy to take out and lube. 2 Bolts and some silicone paste. All my honda's developed this problem.
