OTS rates will be fine, I believe they're f375 r250. I'm running f450 r375 with koni yellows and I daily drive it. It's all going to depend on how low you want to go. The lower you go you'll want to increase the spring rate so you don't bottom out. On the other handle using too high of a spring rate or drop will shorten the life of the shocks.

not to mention it will add to a more miserable daily driver.
did you just want to drop your car, or are you looking into real performance?

spring rates dont have an effect on the ride quality as much as the shocks themselves

i ride around with 800 and 1000 spring rates but i have great dampning, which makes it feel soft like stock but the car rides like its on rails.

i suggest investing in shocks at the same time you get the GC kit....as your stock shocks will blow very quickly especially on a 2" drop.

as for spring rate.... i suggest getting 450/375 to start... all aftermarket shocks can hold that rate.... above 500 and you start having a few problems with certain brands.

800f 1000r rly?! Damn, I have tolerance issues with 600f 700r but I have my compression and rebound tuned for all out performance. I'm strongly considering running 800 rear, I figure it's already firm as hell back there, what's another 100 lbs/in going to change. What shocks are you running with those rates anyway?
