I've never heard of Spoon making an LSD for the H22 but I came across one on ebay. I looked around for a bit but I didn't find any place over the net that even sells it. I don't even think it was on Spoon's Japanese page. Anyone know? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33731
It's real. I have heard of them before, but never seen one for sale. I'm sure it's a good unit, but Quaife is the best in the business and they have a lot more experience with LSD than Spoon. The Quaife is about the same price and comes with a lifetime warranty.

spoon usa/japan website does not have it. pictures look real. i read in cusco application book in super autobacs, they had h22a application for lsd, but everywhere I look online, I don't see application. could spoon be same thing? just a gamble IMO.
I don't expect anything Prelude related to be on the Spoon website since they've basicly discontinued the entire line. However, the only other source (quick search on google) revealed the model number does check out.
well... wat are some opinions on the product then? the 1way type MZ LSD for the H22A by Cusco vs the Spoon 1.5 way LSD? and both of those compared to the quaife? which would you choose?
quaife has lifetime guarantee even when raced, whereas the other 2 i think would have that, but a little troublesome if something does happen. but cusco and spoon is a name to be recognized for high quality products IMO. opinions?
I was having an argument with the guy on H-T cause I was saying it won't fit in a USDM casing. But he said it has 10 bolts, so it 'should' fit in a non-lsd tranny.
We both have euro-r trannies so I could put it in mine, but I already have the OEM LSD which will keep me content for awhiel.
Shipping is $70 cause he is from japan. LSDs are frickin heavy.
Turboevo insists that Cusco makes no LSD for 5th gen preludes. But I have seen 4th Gen VTEC with H22A use Cusco LSD.
SatanSRV- do you have any idea of fitment of Cusco LSD on USDM H22A4?
Did you miss the boat? Cusco isn't mentioned anywhere in this post except by you... Cusco never really made anything for the Prelude. Very minimal suspension (strut tower bars only), no drive train, and virtually nothing else. What makes you think they produced one? But with the price of Quaife's being around $7-800 just get that and know it'll bolt on.
timeracer: just asking if anyone might happen to know... and yes it does exist in Japan. No one here has heard of it, but no one has heard of Spoon LSD either except a couple. If you want further evidence of Cusco LSD for H22A, just look in the cusco site, or even the JUN Prelude uses the Type RS. Just wondering if anyone knows whehter it will work or not. payce
Yes, I was wrong about the LSD but my guess it's more for the Euro-R tranny than ours. For the cost, the benifits don't outweigh the differences between anything in the Quaife.
