Spoon Intake

Where can I get a Spoon intake? It it a short ram or cold air? Also, how much is it?

i think only filter is available for our car (which'd cost more than a whole intake of other brands), even if there's a spoon intake, it's not cold air for sure.

Spoon filter is a drop in filter.

I always thought about that.....is the stock intake box a cold air filter? The filter is surrounded by plastic, and the air is coming from the fender. Wouldn't this be same as any other CAI?

Here is the link to the air filters:
All of them are drop-in filters except for the TypeR one which is a mushroom style filter.

Nuro,
There are several factors why ppl by Spoon stuff and Mugen stuff, mostly ppl buy it for the quality, name, and JDM

If your looking for a somewhat good performaning air filter, and at a reasonably good price, I'd recommend K&N drop in.

There are severl ways you can go interms of air filters....
just do a search.

you can drill into your chassis and fit the Integra one in...
I seen it done, but I don't see the point why?

so True! I was thinking of the same thing today!!

I put in my type-S intake and spoon air filter today, looked back at the stock intake and resonator...If the COLD air goes into the resonator, or no resonator, dont matter, right up to the covered air filter box, wouldnt it be sucking cold air?

Yea I believe the typeR is also setup like that, but is also CAI. I think they benefit from the AEM is because of the bigger diameter piping. Hard to say?
but this spring I want to test for sure?
AEM vs Iceman...this long long comparison...I want to take it on the dyno or even just use my Blitz power meter to see the difference.
