What type of paint do I need. I'm wanting to paint my valve cover but not sure what type of paint to use I assume I will need something heat resistant
Any help appreciated
And were would I get it sherwin Williams or an auto parts store.

And what type of paint for brake calipers thanks fellow preludelonliners

VHT makes a high heat resistant paint that many people use to paint valve covers.

There is also caliper paint designed for painting brake calipers.

You can find it at an auto parts store or hardware store.

You should try the search function next time. Quicker results.

I wouldn't use the caliper paint on the valve cover.. Lol My buddy did it on his civic and it looked like sh!t up close.. It looks sexy on the calipers though..

You can find both of the paints at an auto parts store

Use the vht paint for the vc.. There's plenty of write-ups to paint it and they show what paint they use on the interwebs
