Well, my 95 Accord EX comes stock with NGK coppers. The manual says to change them every 30K. I personally like doing them at 20-25K. I like to have them in good shape for max power and gas mileage.
The last time I changed my plugs was November of 2000. I had about 25K on them. They were still in good shape, my dad looked at them said they were fine. Power wise, maybe a tad better throttle response which went away after a few days. Honestly changing them every 10K even though they are cheap you are wasting money.
A set of Iridiums is about $55 shipped and they last about 50K. Changing plugs every 10K, you spend $8x5=$40 for every 50K. For an extra $15 you may as well buy Iridiums and not change your plugs.
For me I'll spend $16 on every 50K on plugs.
Hey if it makes you feel better by all means change em every 10K.
With that extra money I can buy 3 real Long Islands, not that ****ty mix stuff.
