Some Exhaust Questions, Please

I REALLY like the look of the 3.2 TL dual exhaust.

I was wondering if this was possible to get on the Prelude?

I want to keep it very very quiet though. Not loud at all.

Is this possible?

I'm sure it can be done but is it worth the $ is up to you. It would probably be a little cheaper by just buying a catback

If your spending that much money for something that has no function, and hardley and look value, then yes I think its a waste of money.

Does everyone have to have the same view and opinion you do? No, get over it

well i do like the JDM fogs, at the time of me saying it was a waste of money was because they were very expensive...
now that i can get them for cheap i wouldnt mind buying them....

I was referring to khilgers who had an arsehole comment because I dont think JDM Fogs are worth $300 (though I do think they look nice), and now I dont think this mod is worth spending money on.

yea i mis read the posts...thats why i edited mine...hehe....i agree with you...back then the fogs were a lil too much, now theyre a lil cheaper id probally buy them but i plan on going with an octane front, and the exhaust is just a rediculous idea....hes better off getting a catback, but if he wants what he wants, then let him get it, its his money,

btw, why is your sig pics so blurry??? they were fine a couple days ago

Okay guys just talked to a place that said they would do my dual exhaust for around $200 or so.

Thats not bad at all. They said they would make it quiet but I need my own tips.

Anyone know where I can find CHEAP Acura 3.2 TL-S exhaust tips? Please help, thanks.

TL-S boards? Huh?

Bottom line, went to a few exhaust places. And for a 5th gen. dual exhaust really isnt the best idea no matter what. Because of the space on the driver side.

So there is nothing that I like more than the dual tips on one side.

The only other thing that I would consider is the dual TL tips, and if that cant be done, f*ck it.

Personally, go with what makes you happy. However the 5th gen does NOT have enough room on the driver's side for a muffler and tips. ANother thing-the flow rates will be affected. I have the Thermal and swear by it. Some say it is louder than stock and indeed it is-but it looks stock and fits a 5th gen the right way.
If you decide to go ahead-get some tubing bent up and weld a pair of tips on it and dummy it under the car somewhere. This will do nothing for performance, but will satisfy your desires.

i think a dummy exhaust would look dumb, especially in the winter when one muffler is putting out steam and the others not...lol

A thermal with dual tips, can someone give me a link to this?

How much $ are we talking? And what kind of gains will I get from this? And I dont like the sound of loud exhausts AT ALL.
