slotted or drilled rotors for my car - recommend?

I'd like a set of slotted or crossdrilled stock size brake rotors for my 2000 Prelude.

EBC and Power Slot are two considerations I'm looking at. What other companies make a good reliable set of grooved/slotted/crossdrilled rotors for the Prelude?

I already run Hawk HPS (street) brake pads and will be adding Goodridge brake lines with the next fluid change.

Reducing brake fade, especially at highway speed, is my aim.

Thanks!

Craig

I don't trust those "Brembo" brakes on Ebay--way too cheap to be authentic in my opinion. Baer makes the best brakes in the world, but their kits are super expensive. Don't forget to look at Neuspeed--they make crossdrilled or slotted OEM sized replacements front and rear for the Prelude. AEM doesn't make rear rotors, nor does Brembo. I have been looking around also and so far Neuspeed sounds the best to me.

Dont get the Cross drilled that are drilled all the way through. Its been discussed here before that if you get just the one with dimples its a bit better. There are some companies that make them. I seen them on a few preludes and they look good and actually function.

Not sure where i seen this but there are 2 companies that make both crossdrilled and slotted rotors for front and back of the prelude. 1 company was based in canada and the other in Australia. The price was very good too. Not sure about the name of the company from canada but the one from australia called Disk Break Australia .. something liek that. Not that much of help i guess but a good point to start from.

Remember the upgraded brakes are going to be hell on pads... change them more often.

i have brembo on mine .... they are alright... works good... the only thing i didnt like is the rust... you can easily fix that by painting it before you put them on ... paint the part that not going to be touch by the pads.. i can get them for $100

AEM does make front and rear applications. The AEM big brake kits are slotted and cross-drilled. Checkout www.preludeparts.com I believe they have the kits for a very good price.

I got mine from raceconcepts.net a little while back, I'm impressed with them. Cost me $250 shipped for all 4, slotted & zinc coated. They do dimple drilling as well, but I opted to not get it.

I got mine from JDM H22A4, and would recommend him to anyone.

If you are going to do some track racing I would suggest slotted (NOT crossdrilled) rotors, if not get blanks. You don't need anything but blanks for the rear, all of the stopping power is in the front, so don't spend you money for the rears.
