So... Lets say these are out, or coming out...

What is involved or needed when swapping your cams? Would I need to replace anything else? Could I just drop these puppies in a nearly stock engine? Would I need Adjustable Cam gears?
Would this work on an SS? I mean... hell... gaining even 10-15hp for an SS would be a dream!

Can someone enlighten me?

you wouldn't NEED anything else but getting cam gears and having it dyno tuned would definately be the best wya to go. Especially if you have a V-AFC, you may as well get that done too. personally when i get mey cams i may do valves too

i just screwed my head big time, so i am going to do the whole skunk2 head package(cams, springs, retainers, valves).

i'm not sure about the manifold yet, thinking more along the lines of have my stock intake and exhaust manifold ported, then port matched to the head. I've head from a very good resource that porting, and port matching the exhaust manifold is better than most aftermarket ones.

will wait to see on the manifold...

your cams...

cam gears add relatively little hp compared to cams...i've only seen gains like 2-4hp from cam gears on stock cams.

and please don't type in caps...it's hard on the eyes.

i don't think you can get these cams and turbo too...

i think i remember hearing something about Type-S cams being too radical of a grind to use FI too.

i don't think you will be worrying much about cams once you get your turbo...traction will be your biggest concern.
