Yest. I went to an alignment shop to get the stats of my alignment. My rear is within spec, so I'm not worried about that. But my front showed -1.8/-2.0 left/right respectivley. I'm thinking about getting the SPC camber kit, since its on groupbuy now its a little cheaper. I just changed my tires, and my old ones didnt seen to have excessive wear on the inside, everything seemed normal. Do you guys think I should get a camber kit? everything seems fine, including tire wear. The only problem I have is that the car will slightly drift to the right, but its nothing big at all.
SPC offers two camber kits, one that goes from -1.5 to +1.5. And the other goes from +1.5 to +3 degress of adjustment. If I was to get the kit, should I get the one that adjusts to 1.5degree? If I get this one, I will still have some negative camber, but I will be within factory spec(-1 to +1 degree). And since you have to sacrifice some camber for caster, i'm debating whether i should get the 3 degree adjustability or the 1.5 degree.
-1.8?? -2.0?? i had -1.5 on all sides... and tires got f---ed up because i didnt' care... i had to get new tires and get cambers eventually... it's worth it man.. don't pay $400 for new tires every month... just get the camber corrected..

How low are you? Well You COULD still have negative camber with either kit. With the 1.5-3.0 just have it adjusted 1.5. and you'd still have negative camber. Either kit would work. Oh yeah, about the camber for the caster thing, where did you hear this? I've never heard of it, and the guys at my alignment shop set my front caster to 3.8 on each side. I have the 1.5-3.0 kit.
i suggest getting the camber kit, because it does help out alot when it comes to aftermarket rims that are 17's and 18's.....heck even tires for 16's are expensive....i highly recommend it

What was your toe? This could be the cause of your trouble, obviously you are going to wear more than normal with negative camber, but if you toe is off you are going to wear alot more. If you are going through tires once a month you have more than camber problems.

He's right......toe KILLS your tires. I remember when my Ingalls kit went to take a ****.......2 of my tires are now half way worn.
The best camber is about -3 degrees. The reason being, when you make a hard turn, the body of the car rolls. And during this time the tire contact patch changes, and will cause the camber to be 0 degrees when you're doing the hard turn. Its kinda hard to explain without a picture.
I'm lowered about 1.4 inches, on the H&R's. There's a group buy, (goto www.groupbuycenter.com), its going for about $135 to $159, depending on which kit you buy.

This setup is great for autocross and road racing, but it will eat up your tires like nobody's business. "Best" is quite a subjective word in this case. If you want your tires to last, yes, 0-degree camber is the best. For the maximum edge in cornering, -3 sounds about right. From that, I'd say -1.5 camber is the best compromise between street and the monthly autocrosser if you don't want to keep adjusting your camber. You will get inside wear from everyday driving, but will be offset by the outside wear from occassional weekend racing.

What is the part number for your SPC kit? The general consensus is that SPC is the best kit out there. I am also getting some Tein's installed, but I think I'll wait until I break in the coilover before I go in for alignment.
i have the Tein HA's, and i really need a c/c kit. who makes the best for our cars? btw my front tires are slightly tucked inder the fender

I'm not too sure on the adjustment ranges for the progress kit though. On websites its listed as like up to 1.25 or up to 1.5. But then there's SpanishRicer, he has the progress kit and he's pretty low, and needed more than 1.5 deg. adjustment. So i don't know.....
