I have KG/MM Springs and Koni Yellow's on my SH and I love them!!I think the Koni Yellows should work with your Tanabe springs.

Exactly. Nothing beats a set of Koni Yellows.

I'm curious, do you have the springs installed now? How's the ride height up front?

I just ordered a set of the Tanabe's for my SH, so I'm in the same boat as you are. I had originally intended to go with the AGX's, but I'm now also considering Tokico Illumina's. Whichever I get, I'll probably order through Cox Import auto parts - he's got a bunch of stuff up on groupbuycenter.com - at totally decent prices.

FYI, Koni's are great, but the basic ones aren't compression adjustable - just rebound. That's the main reason I'm not considering them.

heheehhehe, man i got them tanabes too. the drop very little, like 1 inch. they are not for those who want a slammed agressive look. but the quailty is great, you wont be able to tell the difference in ride comfort from stock. i ride on stock shocks for i think over a year now, and i can feel a slight difference in comfort, but maybe thats cuz i hacked the spring a bit for a lower stance! hope that helps?

my Tanabe SuperH's dropped it about 1.25" all the way around...nice clean look, like the car should come from the factory...definetly not slammed or as low as the Eibachs or the Neuspeeds, but since i still need to drive around on some potholed roads in Austin, its a good thing...i have enough problems getting through some places

I'm seriously considering the Koni Yellows and the KYB AGXs...price difference is about $200, and if the AGXs perform 90% as well as the konis i think i'll go with the KYBs

i seem to have some alignment problems though, with my car going out of alignment every 6 months...i think the roads have a lot to do with it but i also think i'm going to have the dealer check my tie rods or cross tie bars or whatever Honda calls them...I know its not the springs for sure

I have Tanabe SuperHs over Koni Yellows! Ride is perfect for the street and the adjustablity of the Konis is nice. The difference between 1/8 of a turn stiff and 1/2 a turn stiff on the Konis is huge in terms of handling. My alignment is within factory spec too with no camber kit.

The koni's are single adjustable - just rebound, I believe. So when you turn the knob to make them stiffer, it only affects the rebound stiffness.

Tokico's & AGX's (despite possibly being lesser quality) adjust compression & rebound simultaneously.

You can spend a good amount of money to convert Koni's to double adjustability - and those you can actually adjust rebound & compression independent of one another.

The Super Hs are not made anymore. I bought mine well over a year ago.

What is comperable to the Super-H's, if they're not being made any more?

H&R OE Sports, and Neuspeed Sofsports. Neither of which are available for the prelude. It freakin' sucks.

I'm currently researching in order to buy some custom Eibach ERS springs - so as to be comparable to the Tanabe SuperH's. Once I get accurate & comprehensive data on the stock springs, I'll be able to do some math to determine what specs to order for my springs. I'm going for a 1" drop, and a 30% increase in spring stiffness.

And it will all be for the SH model. I'm sick of there being nothing available for us. It's been 5 years now, and it's getting a little ridiculous.
