Shock Problem

So I lowered my prelude sh and everytime I hit a bump, my camber kit hits my front tires which wears them out. So bad my tire blew! Im guessing my shocks are dead but could it be something else also? Is there anything you can do to fix the problem besides new shocks? If not what brand of shocks do you guys recommend? Thanks

That doesn't sound right at all. Are you using upper control arm camber kits? If you are the control arm moves with the entire hub/knuckle assembly and stays at the exact same distance the whole time. If you measure from the center of the hub to the top where the ball joint meets the control arm the distance will always be the same even when you hit bumps. There's no compression there it's all solid pieces the only movement you get is rotation. It's not like the shock where it compresses and the length changes. What size tires and rims are you running? What's the rim offset? Where's the damage to the tire? Are you sure you're not just rubbing against the body somewhere?

If the camber kit is causing issues, just remove it since you don't need it anyway.
