Shift Light Install tips please :)

OK I just bought this shift light

and an Autometer single gauge pod for my pillar. The shift light has 3 wires, one for power, one for ground one for tach signal.
Where would be the best wires for me to use for the power and tach that are close to the driver side pillar. I have a VAFC as well, should I tap into the wire from my VAFC that is getting the Tach signal??? My VAFC is under my radio in an accord tray. If not is there a closer/easier one to use. Also for the power what wire on or around my fuse box should I use??? Thanks for any help, I help anything electrical with a passion Thanks again.

Well just completed the install today. I guess I'll answer my own question in case anyone else wants to do this.
I ran the "tach signal" wire to the Blue wire coming off of the distributor that is next to the yellow wire. (only 2 wires on that connenctor) the other distributor wire harness has like 5 wires in it.
The ACC power wire I taped into was the White and Black wire that comes from the ignition switch into a connector right above the fuse box. It is underneath a fully covered bright yellow wire connector.
The ground I used was the bolt right behind the hood release lever. Removed it, put the ground on there and replaced the bolt.
Everything works fine and the tach signal is right in sync with that off of my VAFC.

Here's a video of it in action
