yeah, but it's pretty negligable... it's mainly going to be an all driver race... SH is a little bit heavier and the ATTS unit takes up a little of the power.

it's a purely driver's race with the base having just the slightest 88 lb advantage. i know everyone with a base model will say, the base is so much faster coz it's so much lighter. however, if you're gonna turbocharge or supercharge, just save the $3000 and get the base.

but you won't have the nifty type sh sticker on the back

i'm sure there's a website that'll sell me an SH sticker my friend was claiming my '97 base couldn't beat his 2000 maxima (auto) cause it wasn't an SH, and i thought there wasn't a speed differance.

but wait, take it to autox and the sh win's hands down b./c of atts. it depends on what u think is fast, straight line 1/4 mile? autox, etc... and it really is a drivers race.

those se's, particularly the 5-speeds (2000 models) are pretty fast. but an automatic, you should be able to take him.

well, yeah a good launch would clinch a win. the maximas obviously have the edge in torque, and it's not a heavy car at all. around 3,200 lbs i believe. just keep practicin and you'll have it down. i'm still gettin used to the extra power provided by my supercharger. i ran it twice the track the other day and couldn't get a good launch. and i've been drivin stick for 6 years.

I thought he 5gen ludes ran 15.5 stock on the 1/4? And just cuz the Maxima is auto shouldn't make it1-2 secs slower, I'd think.2-.3 at most. Not sure tho....

5th gen lude ss = 16 flat

5th gen 5spd = 15 flat. (yea i know good driver gets 14's.)

1 second difference.. every person that know's their facts on this forum will tell yah the same

For some reason I thought the 5 speed Prelude ran a 15.5. I don't really know about the auto. I just remember all the mags saying 15.5
