SH tranny swap

hey all

i want to swap my engine out and trying to save some money so i was thinking of going with the just the engine and keeping my SH tranny and ECU has anyone done this (write up mabye) can you go from a SH tranny to regulare engine? is this complicated, need any special tools....

i don't know.... it was hard getting into gears sometimes espically first gear only 160 000kms but the engine's blown so its been driven hard. and would be alot easy just to do a full swap.....

You need an SH motor for an SH tranny.

Your options are endless, you can go JDM. However, in this case your sort of skrewed because a lot of the good motors are not compatible with an SH tranny. So being that you need another trans, why not get a bad ole JDM engine with a whole other tranny(oh right, cause your fuinds aren't infinite, I forgot about that...).
