SH exhaust fit on a base prelude with greddy pipe lengthener?

Ok so I'm sure many of you with a greddy evo exhaust know that it comes with a small section of pipe that allows it to fit a base or SH prelude depending on if you bolt it up or not.

Im doing a cash + trade on a greddy evo to stock exhaust. Well I just found out this noober has an SH, can I use my existing short section of pipe to bolt up to a stock exhaust? I mean, to me it should work because its the same bolt pattern. Have any of you guys done this?
