Severe oil leak

I have a 99 sh with oil leaking somewhere near the oil filter adapter, but I have no line of sight to the source. Any suggestions?

Brake cleaner is your friend, clean the engine off completely of all oil then run the car for 20 mins and look it over. Oil cooler is a common leak on Prelude's but a real pain to fix on an SH, if you take it somewhere for someone else to fix have your wallet ready.

It will leak bad and can blow out causing you to lose all your oil in under a minute if it does, there's a lot of oil pressure behind the oil filter.

It's clean enough to see something right now, the problem is I can't see where it's coming from. I also can't make it down the block before it's out of oil. It runs out almost instantly. Only thing I can come up with is the filter adapter, but I hate to just start ripping things apart without knowing the cause first.

Its most likely the oil cooler adapter o ring. the dealer has them for $3.33 lol I just did mine. You need an extension and a 30 mm socket for tools.
