Service Manuals?!?!?!

I have been reading around on this site and looking online as well, but I just cant seem to find a decent priced service and repair manual for my 2000 honda prelude sh. I need to change my belts and I want a good reference with pictures to get me through it. My question is what manual can I trust and where can I find it? I prefer to do all my own work so I can learn and same myself some money so any help from you guys is much appreciated. Thank You all

Helm Inc. publishes the Honda written manuals, if you want to buy a copy buy it from them, all others are inferior.

I checked that site and they only have the 2000 shop supplement, and the 1997-1999 service manual. Im not an expert and I know they are still 5th gens but I just want to make sure that if I get the 97-99 would it still be ok even though I have a 2000? I don't know if there is any serious differences between the years cause I'm still learning but would it still be ok to get that one? Also, I am aware that there are a few differences between the base and SH models so does the book define the differences and address them when describing how to fix or replace a part? Thank You

Neither of those had what I was really looking for, they were useful but I am looking for I guess a how to manual on replacing and fixing problems. One that includes pictures so I can see if I'm doing it right and what is where is all. I was told the Helms manual was good I just am wondering if the 97-99 is still ok for me to get.

Yes, for general repair it will do just fine. If you just need 1 thing out of it I can post it for you, I work at the Honda dealer and have access to all manuals online.

Both links are for the Helm's manual (the manual you want). Mine is better because of the way the manual was scanned, plus a large selection of other manuals.

For the moment I need to change my throw out bearing so I am looking for a walk through on how to do that and I also need to change my serp belts. And I'm just not too sure on which bolts to loosen so any pictures and walk throughs would be great. THANK YOU SO MUCH

There should be no difference in the 97-01 range. Only between the SH and Base models.

Hell you would probably be able to find your way through the 4th generation manual, same engine.

Good luck with your throw out bearing, let us know how it goes.
