Sci/sci-l

anybody knows which one should i use on my prelude i have a 2k sh prelude with a v tec controller ? i've seen sum1 in here with an SCI-L but what i dont get is the L stands for LIMITER right? so why get the limiter when ur stock ECU shuts it down once u hit 8000 rpm? or i must be one ate up guy

Well... some cars might not come with rev limiters, or have their rev limiters removed by reprogramming the ECU. Getting the sci-L will allow them once again to have a rev limiter in which they can control.

i see so am better off using the SCI then since i still hav ea stock ecu and havent remove my rev limiter then

Installing the SCI is the same as the MSD 6, there's lot of writeups on it. Visit this sites for install info:
