s2k steering wheel

looking into getting an s2k steering wheel my prelude... but i heard it can only be an ap1 steering wheel. true or false

Not true from what I've read, but there are some limitations. Do a search, there's a bunch of info on the matter.

00-03 (AP1) work, but you have to repin the cruise control plug.

the ap1 install is a breeze and fairly straight forward. The ap2 howver is different becuase the airbag is controlled differently and has more wires coming to the pin form teh harness, therefore making it a pita to do.

yes i agree, i think Honda meant to put one in there from the factory but just forgot to do it...
