s2000 steering wheel troubles!!!

Here is what happened when I pulled my oem steering wheel off...

I mean it completely came off cause I'm retarded. That means I need a new SRS reel right? Because the reel (white tape) was completely off, so I must have broken it. Also, my cruise control and horn don't work either (you push on the airbag to toot the horn right?) I'm guessing I should buy the oem part from ebay to fix it so my airbags will work and so will the rest of it. Please let me know if you have any other suggestions as well! Thanks

Also, I didn't take the pic above but it looked just like that except on the right one, the white reel was disconnected.

I can't see the pic. But you can probably find a cable reel on ebay for pretty cheap, like you said.

That picture won't let me load it.
Here is a better one

However the end of the white strip that connects to the SRS module came off. Does that mean I need a new one or what?

The horn and cruise have to be wired differently. I have yet to do mine, so I don't know the setup off the top of my head.

Here's a link to some guys that do though http://www.ntpog.org/mods/fifth-s2kwheel/index.shtml

I wired everything correctly but the clock spring fell out. When you guys were doing the s2000 steering wheel install, was it suppose to fall out?

It should definitely not fall out. Did you forget to disconnect everything before pulling the old wheel off?

Use that link that Solid posted...that's what I used and I had no probs. But it seems like you will need a new clock spring, unless you can put yours back together somehow.

Guys I have a 4th gen prelude that I want to use the s2000 steering wheel in.

I KNOW THE SPLINES ARE DIFFERENT.

But I'm having a shop modify it so that the s2000 wheel will physically fit the 4th gen's spline.

Now that thats done, I've gotta worry about the air bag and cruise and horn wiring.

Now I've read this link at NTPG: 5g S2k Wheel Install

And I'm CONFIDENT that I can follow that DIY and use it.

MY problem is, I'm not sure that the connectors for the Air Bag and Cruise on the 5th gen are the same on the 4th gen. I KNOW they're not the same as the S2000's and therefore will require modification. I wanna know if 4th and 5th gens are the same.

And thats what I need your help with fellahs... Other than the spline issue, do you all know if this DIY write up will work for the 4th gen?

Thanks in advance for any/all help/info you can provide!

Ultimately I think I can figure out the cruise control, its the airbag connector i'm concerned with beacuse I really dont want to mess with the wires for that-

These are the only pics I can find of the 4th gen's airbag connector. If you have any info on this or can help me figure this out before I start dropping money on an AP1 wheel, I'd REALLY appreciate it!
