Resonator gone!

That sum***** is gone! Love the sound---midway between stock and aftermarket. Actually it's on the quieter side. The throttle is sharper thru the midrange as well. Only took 20 minutes and with no cursing. Hats off to cucc' and the boys at NTPOG.

One question: Now with that big hole at the top of the fenderwell it seems more vulnerable to water than if I had a CAI. Should I put a fine-mesh screen over it or something?

No man... unless you take your car through rivers or swimming pools... water isn't an issue.

(not that mesh screen would help ANY at all.. but whatever)

Man everone is always worried about water. I have had my CAI for over a year and a half I live in Alaska I have driven my car in the snow up to my bumper and didn't have to worry. Like wOrdie says unless you drive through a river or a swimming pool don't stress it. But don't purposely drive through bid puddles.

Depending where you live you may want to put some wire mesh over the opening just to keep mice or birds from nesting in there!

Have to bend the little oval hole thats left a little bit to get the 3 inch piping through there.. but its really basic...

The toughest part of a CAI install is getting the resonator off... so you're 80% there.
