Reconnecting Rear Windshield Brake Light

I am going to end up getting a WW whale tail and was hoping that someone could tell me how to reconnect my rear windshield brake light.

Thanks!

reconnect?

u mean u disabled it in the past right? how did u disable it, unplugged it? just plug it back in.

unless you're talkin about how to wire up the spoiler brake light to the rear one, then just tap into the two wires, one's pos, the other's neg. the colors should be easily distinguishable.

Hmmm... well I never disconnected the wires to begin with. I bought the car with an OEM spoiler that lights up when I brake.

Now I am getting the WW whale tail without a light in the spoiler so I want to reconnect the light in the rear windshield.

I am guessing that I push down on the rear center console thing (with the brake light in it) and it comes out? And that is where Ill find the wires to reconnect?

-pull down your back seat

-open your trunk

-crawl around ur trunk/backseat area right under the 3rd brakelight/speakers..

-look up to see if there's any unplugged harnesses

-plug the harness into the brake light

note: if it's already plugged in, maybe the guy removed the bulb

if so, replace the bulb.

Just disconnected my spoiler light and reconnected my rear windshield light. I cant wait to get my WW whale tail!

Really looking forward to how that is going to look. I hope that youll still be able to see the rear windshield light with the WW spoiler there.

I haven't seen anyone this excited on getting a mod for their lude in a long time. yeah you will be able to see your third brake light because the wing sits low on your trunk.

LOL, every little tiny mod I make I am thrilled haha.

I just installed the 2 center pieces yesterday for my carbon fiber dash kit, along with a leather shift knob, and a few other interior pieces and I am DAMN excited!
