Rear Wheel Bearing problem

Im pretty sure my rear bearings are bad. My ride is real noisy and it makes a weird somewhat grinding noise at low speeds. High speeds i cant really hear it.

I also noticed my rear tires have uneven tire wear (my tires arent evenly round anymore). Is this the result of the bad rear bearings or could it be something else?

Thanks in advance for any info/help

Could be brakes too... did you hear the noise only coming from one side? If so, listen for it when you turn left/right... it should stop when the load is off the opposite side. Youl could also jack up the rear, hold the wheel at 9 + 3 o'clock and pull one side will pushing one side... if you have some flex, then it's your bearing.

Don't think wheel bearings are to blame for your tires. Out of balance will cause tires to wear with high and low areas as the tire bounces, componded by weak struts. Follow Keith's suggestions for checking bearings.

If you just recently lowered your car you need an alignment. Your toe could be out causing the uneven tire wear. If the wear is on the inside of the tire then you are toed out too much and will cause this problem, think of dragging the tire along the ground well rotating. Get that done then see if everything goes back to normal.
