Rear Lower Tie bar Install

My D.C. bar should be coming in today. I've been told it's an easy no-brainer job so i figured i'd try the install myself. I was just wondering what tools I would need to install it on my own. anybody? thanks

They tell you what you need in the instruction sheet that comes with the bar.

I'll add this though......when you remove the bolt that the ends thread into, sometimes it doesn't go in as easily as it came out. If this is the case push it (the bolt) in while tapping the lower control arm to re-align to holes so that it threads. No big deal.

When you install it ...should you jack up a car and put it on stands. Or the wheels have to be supported. Cause i was gonna do my install as well.

Also, I hear that the bolts that are on the control arms are a PAIN to take off....and you need a huge ass breaker bar. Is this true or You think my 2001 Lude will have no problems.

You need to have the back two tires off the ground. But i couldnt install the lower tie bar myself because i didnt have a impact gun to remove the bolts and i dont see how yer gonna do it without one...... but luckly a shop near my house let me use theres. after that its easy.

well use the jack to help hold the control arm pivots in place and the stck jack too. this way it will be easier to slip the bolt back in. also get a breaker bar the just attach a cheater bar aka pipe to the end and off it comes. what i did is i kicked the stupid bar and plunk off it went. do 1 side at a time. tighten at the end
