Real Mugen kit questions

Does the front bumper fit without any adjustments? if not, how much? what about the sides and rear pieces?

does the turn signals and jdm fogs fit without making ghey brackets?

also, how much lower to the ground is the bumper than the oem bumper with the oem lip?

is the silver part on the bumper, painted on? or is a metal piece? (around turn signals and grill area).

what should i look for if buying used? i know it has the "mugen" stamp on the insides, etc....

Thanks.

^^^^^^ Not true.. I have a friend that has decent replica and it doesn't fit "flawlessly" it's off here and there and it still needs to be modified and fixed.. It's close fit though.. not perfect but not bad...

1. all mugen parts fit flawlessly without modification (they should, you're paying top dollar for them)
2. i believe it comes with all brackets bolts for everything (no sure though)
3. it sits a tad lower than the oem bumper with oem lip but not by much
4. silver part is brushed stainless steal i believe, so nothing is painted silver, only the guys with fake bumpers do that and they come with the foglight/turn signal covers i believe also

As far as I know, this is all correct. The Mugen bumper is not a cheap crappy replica. Everything will fit like its supposed to. It also comes with a cover for the turn signals and JDM fogs. Its pretty pimp.

Wrong Answer! Gaps Gaps Gaps.... Mind the Gap

The real Mugen sides and rears go on in about an hour and need no adjustment. They come with all brackets and hardware required for installation. I would only assume the same of the front.

They are worth every penny.

it went crappy and has gaps and he doesn't have the balls to admit it since he made a big stink about how it would fit perfect.

but back on topic i didn't think the Mugen front came with brackets for the fogs?

IMO, worth every penny. On top of that, hopefully, I say hopefully, when they are sold, there resale value will absorb some of the initial cost.

If you want perfect fit and longevity go with a Genuine Mugen kit.I've owned 2 complete genuine Mugen kits. One on my 4th gen and one on my 5th.Quality is amazing!Things to consider when buying a replica
1-No fog light covers which not only look great but make the "aero bumper" aerodynamic. If you don't have these covers you have 2 huge air trapping indentations where your turn signals/fogs are located

2-No bling bling stainless steel grill insert

3-You will be missing alot of hardware. This is one reason why replicas don't line up correctly. The black pleice is where the Mugen emblem goes

4-The replica fiberglass is much more thick and heavy then the geniune light and thin bumper. This is the second reason why they dont line up good because they sag from the extra weight and lack of support
