Ok, so we've all seen Honda Access fogs, door sills, clusters, etc. I'm wondering if anyone has on their car or has pics of items that are considered rare or unseen for 5th gen ludes. I'm curious as to what other JDM goodies I can find out there for my lude.
Here is something I posted on another prelude forum:
does anyone have one or more of these on their lude?
rare 5th gen JDM Honda Access exterior & interior accessories :
door courtesy light?
interior courtesy light
trunk tray
corner foglights (lights up the road when turning)
bumper pole (reference for parking)
trunk pole (parking reference for those w/o a spoiler)
front & rear parking sensors
color side view mirrors (words on mirror "color mirror by flotech")
^^ they're kind universal. they made them for the civics too. They plug into the dimmer switch and dim with the interior lights. they velcro/zip tie into place.
Yea, I actually have a buddy in Florida with the bumper pole and he replaced his rear glass, so he could have the rear wiper. He also told me of another JDM accessory: In place of your third brake light (if you have one), you can get a unit the same size and shape as your third brake light that is a solar panel air freshener. It has small fans inside tha are solar powered that distribute squash fragrance in your car. He's going to try and get me a pic. I also have long wanted a rear fog in my bumper like the EDM models, just thought that was cool.
I have had the opportunity to get these before in the past, but for some reason the GPS system won't support North American maps, and the cost to get them reconfigured was so much, you might as well just buy a double-din Alpine unit.
Ok, it's a bit off-topic, but had there actually been a Prelude Type R, this is what a friend of mine in Germany sent me. Supposedly this car rolls around Frankfurt, go figure.
