Random Loss of Power on Startup - Honda Prelude Forum

Hey Everyone,

I have a 2000 Prelude Base model, 5 speed. For some reason, when I try to start the car, their is no power, no accessory power, no turning over nothing. This doesn't happen every time, but randomly. If I pop the hood and give the fuse box a little tap power is restored. I was thinking it might be a loose ground or something, but haven't had a chance to get under there to look. Was just wondering if anyone else has ever had a similar issue.

I have a similar issue. Hasn't happened in a while, but I never really resolved it.
