Fuse 15 in the fuse box under the hood. After changing the fuse, you will need to enter the code for the radio.

That is not correct for 5th gen. Fuse 46 ("interior lights", under-hood) powers the stock stereo. Fuse 18 ("acc", under-dash) powers the relay that feeds the stock stereo (and power accessory socket). If either of those fuses blows, the stereo will not work.

Honda has "In-warranty Exchange" and "Out-of-warranty Repair" programs for stock radios of some year models. If your car is still under warranty (i.e. if you had purchased the extended warranty) you can bring it back to the dealer and they will replace a good one for you. If out of warranty they can repair it at your expense. Just an FYI..

this is off topic, but do we hear a huge difference using an aftermarket cd deck, or is our stock one almost THAT good?

From the other thread where you also posted this...

Fuse number 15 is a 20A under-dash fuse that feeds the driver's side power window switch/motor.

thanks crashandburn....fuse 18 was it. I didn't even have to check fuse 46 since the issue happened right after my friend pulled a fuse from the underdash fuse box....I couldn't remember which one, but I figured it was in that area. the fuse is okay, just reset it an it works.

BTW, I was also having a problem again getting out of Park, and this time, even getting back into reverse from D....last time it happened the brake lights went out as well an it was a brake switch, but this time, resetting fuse 18 fixed it as well
