There are some hidden costs you need to realize with an aftermarket radiator. I'll share my experiences with you.
First, don't worry if you think that it'll "overcool" your engine, some people might tell you that a larger radiator will prevent your engine from heating to normal operating temperature. It won't.
Second, you're going to have to buy some aftermarket fans which will include soldering in some new connectors or finding a reliable method of plug-in type connectors for those unforseeable times that you'll have to take out the radiator. Here is my story with installing my Koyo Radiator with stock fans...
As I was shoe-horning in the Koyo Radiator with fans all bolted in and everything, a quick visual check showed me that the fan on the left (passenger) side of the radiator were coming in contact with the engine mount. I literally had to take my large "wire snips" and begin cutting (see: breaking) the edges of the fan blades so they'd clear. It looked terrible but that was the only way I got it to fit. The second surprise happened to me after my second day having the radiator installed as I was driving down the road and hit a smallish pothole. The car completely shut down, I mean EVERYTHING shut down, there was no power at all. I did a quick examination and found out the culprit being the fan on the OTHER SIDE (keep in mind this fan's shroud is metal) was so close to the alternator and its connectors that it literally cut through the main wire to the alternator and when metal hit metal, it shorted out the entire car and blew the main relay fuse. Although the repair cost for that was simply an 80amp fuse (or was it 100?) I knew I had to get some different fans. I had a shop custom make me two metal mounts and they fabbed up some pretty cool brackets to mount two universal 12" FAL fans. They did such an incredibly clean job (for $350 argh) that their work has withstood the test of time to this day. You're going to have to get busy with some metal fabrication and fan mounts for the Koyo but trust me, it's well worth it. You should see my coolant temperatures rush back to 180 degrees when the fans kick on at 210. It takes like all of 15 seconds for real haha.
I just want you to know what you're getting into with these fans, they're no joke and the whole buildup/swap was made easier since I had no AC whatsoever in the car, those lines get in the way something fierce!
