Radiator fan and ac fan not spinning - Honda Prelude Forum

after I reset my ecu today my radiator fan and ac fan are not spinning.... do the fans only come on when they need to or are they on all the time?

they only come on when the engine needs them to come on...but there on 90% of driving....... just make sure you didn't blow its fuse..and electircal connectors are all connected and you should be striaght......to see if it works.....drive around.......then stop and idle youll hear the fan kick in...look under the hood...see if there on.....Hope this helps..

an easy way to see if they aren't working is turn your car, let it idle, turn on the AC full blast... both fans should kick on. If not, check your fuses. If the fuse isn't blown, then you most likely have a bad sensor, loose connection, or possibly a bad fan control unit.
