some of my boys told me about racing transmission for cars and i was curious if anyone knew if someone made them for our fifth gens? i think my tranny might go and i dont want to get another stock one, and i have a stick bye the way

The stock tranny is pretty good if not beaten up a lot. It is possible that Quaife or a similar company has the pieces to beef it up. You are looking at a very expensive conversion. You might do well to find a wreck and salvage a gearbox and hunt down what you need from there.

i dont know of any for the prelude... but ive seen one on a corvette... it had 8 GEARS!!!! four gears for accleration and 4 gears for top speed...

Houseman can do a straight cut dog gear 5 speed tranny. 100% custom, and drive ratios are 100% customizable. Cost will be anywhere from $5k to $10k.
