Quick release/steering wheel combos?? Need help - Honda Prelude Forum

ive been searching aound for a hub adapter, quick release, and steering wheel for my 5th gen. But i have no idea how to piece togeter a quick release kit?

I want NRG hub and gen 2.5 quick release and a sparco/Momo steering wheel.

My question is.. Do all quick release hubs match up to any steering wheels? as long as i get a hub adapter for a 97-01 prelude?

I would just get the NRG package but it comes with an ugly steering wheel.

I have a NRG quick release and NRG short hub to go along with a Mugen steering wheel(made by MOMO).

You just need the NRG parts for a 97-01 Prelude.

Where did you buy yours? main main question is how do i know if the steering wheel will fit the quick release hub? Im only nervous because i dont want the wheel to release as im driving, but is that even possible?

I got the hub and quick release from Paperchasin here on PO.com. You might want to ask if he still sells them. It fits most wheels such as Sparco, MOMO, etc. I had the same worry as you about it falling off but I've had mine on for more than a year with no problems. (and that's w/o power steering so I have to pull/pull on it more).

So as long as i have the right hub adaptors for a prelude, the wheel will fit up to the quick release?

I know that Sparco/MOMO wheels will work with the NRG parts.
