Question for SS Luders, or anyone who can help

sup guys,
I was wondering if there was anything i can do to get my car off the line faster. What would be the best mods for that, and is there a certain way i can launch my car? I have a 1998 SS with i/e. Thanx
Jimmy

Get AEM pullies They helped a lot

And break torquing is holding the break down while u press the gas till about 200o rpm's and launch that way.

The cheapest is cementups but also www.importhorizon.com has ;em. They are awesome too but u should talk to cementups first and help out the small shops when u can. Very reliable

O sorry. Not a dumb question, but he is a lude owner on here who opened a small shop in PA. I know him personally and a lot of people dealt w/ him and everyone is happy. Private Message him and c what price he can get u Or if u want AIM him at that same name.

that's the right idea... you gotta go to level 10 tranny @ www.levelten.com then that'll fortify your tranny so it don't break... next torque converter at the same place.. that's 5g's alredy. so if you wanna have good launch, pay the price.. but i heard pple who just did tranny upgrade and had great launches for the ss. i can care less about doing 1/4.. i just know that' my ss lude would tear those domestics up on twisty tracks.
