I'm trying to remove the clock and vent thing so i can change the clock to light up blue...I started by prying on the bottom portion of the whole thing with a flathead...but thats as far as i got...i assume the top part is clipped in as well...but everytime i try n just pull the bottom portion out first...then pull upwards...i hear little cracking noises...(did all that sound confusing cuz i know i'm confused by my own words...haha)

Is there a "proper" way to get this whole piece out?

you need to pull it strait out.. like, horizontally.

I just pop off the bottom ones, then yank strait out, not up.

open up the glovebox and stick your hand in there and feel for the piece and then push up and itll pop out
