Question for all JUN camshaft owners...

As I do my research of which cams to buy I'd like to hear from the owners. From what I know, JUN appears to be the highest in quality/testing as well as price. My question.....are the cams worth it (properly tuned ofcourse). What kind of gains could I expect with my mods (listed in sig)? Also, do the new cams change the sound/kick of VTEC engagement?

I just ordered a set of crower cams, i'm expecting about a 25 hp gain. anyone know if this will be true or worth it? so far i've heard that it's a very noticable gain.

My car is a 5spd as listed in my sig. I'd have to be shooting a whole lot of laughing gas to get that with an auto.

Anything can contribute to that. Improper installation (in town there was a B16 that got destroyed by Toda cams b/c the shop put the intake springs on the exhaust side, and exhaust springs on the intake side), poor break-in, and - of course - manufacturer's defect.

25hp? Wow, you're dreaming =]

I can see 25hp from the cams, if you've already got intake, header, exhaust and a mild port and polish... but that's only from the stage 3 race cams.

No, I don't think there's a recall on JUN cams. So far I haven't had time to tune my car, but they are definately much better than the Type S cams I had before. Just from doing a few runs with my friend's itr, it's a big diff.

So I'm assuming you have a friend that's done the crower cams, or you've done the crower cams yourself then. if not then i'll proceed to expect atleast 20 hp and maybe 25. thanks
