Question about vibration on 01 SH

Im new to this site and to the prelude. I recently sold my 95 GSR and bought a 01 SH. My question has to do with a vibration that comes from the front of the car, usually after I have started it, backed out and have started to pull off out of a turn. The vibration last for about 2 seconds. It sounds very similar to that of the ABS kicking in, but obviously that isnt it. I was wondering if it has something to do with the ATTS kicking in for some reason and Im just not use to it. If so, why does it kick in at such a low speed with no real hard acceleration? Any help or explanation would be appreciated. Thanks

I dunno, are you sure its not your ABS? My car makes a pretty loud noise either right as I back out of the garage or right after I start going forward. I drive a 97 SH.

Could it be the power steering?

I know what it most likely is. My 98 base does it. As you pull away for the first time driving it of the day, it makes a buzzing sound for about 2 seconds. Its the ABS pump. I dunno if its priming, or what but thats what mine is.

^^I know the sound you are talking about. The car does it every time you begin to drive off.

However, from the description seems like he may be talking about some other sound.

Just a vibration and not audible?
How are you so sure it isn't the ABS?

Sounds like the ABS. My Integra used to do it too.

I think it's the ABS too, I get the same sound every now and then (it's not a vibration but it sounds kind of like one). It's like a quick buzz and then it's gone, it's just priming up the system like 98auto said.

Thanks for all the responses!! As for the question about if it is audible, it is. A slight vibration and a kind of buzzing noise. I did take it back to the dealer to get it checked, but they couldnt get it to make the noise, or they didnt know exactly what to listen for.

Chalk it up for ABS. Should only be able to hear it after starting up the car and driving away. If the car has been running, it won't be repeated.
