question about eg port cleaning

Howdy, I am cleaning the egr ports and I might have drilled the plug to deep in the slide hammer step.... Is there supposed to be a hole between the egr port going into the intake manifold? And if so is the "new" 13/64th hole going to be to big? Any helpful comments would be appreciated asap as my friend can not use her car till I get it back together. I am thinking I might have to take the manifold off to do a repair and further clean job.. anyone?

Yes there is supposed to be a hole, I don't think a typical bit can go deep enough to do any real harm, just make absolute sure that there are NO metal shavings left.

New hole? Not sure what you mean.

Yes there is a hole inside. Just pull the plugs...and clean, clean, clean, clean the ports.
Compressed air (via a compressor & nozzle) works best and in my opinion is a must. it gets all the big chunks blown out once you get them broken up.
I ended up using 2 large cans of carb cleaner for the job.
After using an EGR port cleaning tool (Flexable wire bristle brush) to loosen up the carbon in each port and into the side channels...I blew out as many chunks as possible by blasting air into each port.
Then soaked each port with carb cleaner & waited 2-3 min,
then repeated those steps over and over till I was out of carb cleaner.
Tap in the new plugs till the edge is flush with the port plugs.
Reassemble everything.
Clear any codes you may have had.
It may take a little bit of cranking to restart the car and some smoke will come out of the tail pipe.
Take the car out and give it a good wind out.

Not sure what you mean by New Hole...Post a pic please?
