Did anyone who miss shifted jump timing also?

Or was the damage strictly from the high rpms.

Yea I missed the 3-4 shift myself a couple of months back. I only bent 4 valves. While it was in the shop i had it P&P'd and had crower valvetrain goodies put in. So 3 weeks ago I was driving along minding my own business, smokin a little L, and she just died when I stoped at a stop sign. No misshift, no nothing. Mechanic said somethin' about broken teeth on the timing belt and 2 more bent valves. Mechanic thinks it's my falut cause I "drive too hard." and that I shouldn't have ported the head. I think he's an idiot. Wish I knew how to do this **** myself! Bah... I want a supra
