Programming a Factory Keyless entry remote (HELP!) - Honda Prelude Forum

My friend let me borrow his keyless remote for the same year/model lude (2000 base SS) and i tried looking through past posts and found stuff like.. turn ignition on push the unlock and then turn it off 4 times, but it didn't work for me. Does anyone have a detailed explaination of how to do this? Thanks in advance

bring it to dealer and say this stoppped working on me

I think the same steps should work. but then again, I wrote it up for the factory alarm and not just the keyless entry.
