problems lowering sh

screamer5300 and i were installing H&R springs and the bolt in front hooking the fork to the axle was blocked in by a control arm...anyone else have this problem??? in screamer's it was in the other way, making it really easy, mine looked like it was backwards

You might want to PM Todd AKA marcucci cuz he reinstalled my H&R springs and Koni Yellows without any problem.

This was posted only a couple of days ago. Remove the radius rod where it connects to the steering knuckle. That's how I did a couple of SH installs. It takes all of 5 minutes or less to do.

IIRC, you can use the same size Pittman Arm puller that's used on the rear upper control arm.

The bolt was just stuck! we try to take the upper wishbone mount and tried to unbolt the radious rod that connects to steering knuckle...

It's 97 SH and we couldn't even loosen the strut top bolt.

i tried again this morning to take off the radius rod, but the bolt under it is ON TIGHT... we tried all kinds of lubricants, not coming off, my car is like almost 6 years old so i guess it could just be rusted on... we took off the upper control arm with pittman tool and tried to take pressure off but its still stuck on...

did you WD40 that and let it sit?
