problems to look for?

when u misshift and u think somethings wrong, what problems do u look for?? cauz i misshifted twice and im juss worried that i messed somethin up buh everything seems to b running fine, except at the time it smelt like somethin waz burning...

Your probably smelling the clutch... it stinks like something else when it slips to the point of burning...

My gf burnt my clutch bad. 7k for about 10 seconds in 3rd gear from a stop on an incline. The clutch never caught--it just slipped the whole time. I can't even describe the smell. It's harsh and gritty. I could smell it for a week after it happened. It doesn't smell like smoke.

Exactly, it smells more like something rotten... like bad eggs. It's really quite nasty.
