Problem pulling away!

hello guys, my prelude has been having some problems and it seems to be getting worse!

When pulling off in 1st gear there is a resistance and a noise like metal on metal!

It could be the breaks, i mean they seem ok, maybe drive shaft?

Any help would be top bananas!

post a video of the noise.

is it only in first gear when you initially start driving? it could be the abs system priming for use.

is it in any gear? how do you know its not the brakes?

Ill try and post a video on the weekend, yep only in first gear, soon as the noise stops and car feels like alot of resistance goes and it moves easier, im not 100% its the breaks, it could well be... just cant think what is wrong!

you don't ever hear it while driving in any other gear? What about in reverse?

its VERY likely that its simply the abs system priming

^X2 look into Dontbuyprelude's advice.

The sound of the ABS priming really attracted my attention when I first got my Lude. No other car I've owned did it so audibly. Correct me if I'm wrong but should occur at somewhere between 3-5 mph whenever you're taking after having started the car. If that's it, then it's not a problem.

Our preludes make this cow like noise because it is activating the awesome massive brakes that are on your prelude which stop it in .1ms
