probably a really stupid question

so when it comes to engine swaps, what's the best you can get? Is it possible to cram a K23 in there? I doubt that, but hey that would be kinda fun... I'm just thinking about way in the future when I'm making oodles of cash and can actually afford it. Of course then again they'll probably be on like the Q series at that point. Anyway, the actual really stupid question was is it possible to get the K23 in a 5th gen lude

When you're making oodles of cash, you should sell your prelude and buy a real sports car.

^but the lude looks so cool! maybe I'll just strip the whole back end and put in a lambo engine or something else heinously large and the k23 is factory turbocharged, so I have to imagine there's some benefit over the h22. and isn't the k series just supposed to be better in general? or am i misquoting somebody

There has been one K series Prelude I know of. It was totaled and I bought some of the parts for my 5spd swap.

I'm sure if you search around others have done it. One thing I remember is that all the clutch hydraulics had to be adapted to a different size. Not to mention the whole thing is mounted backwards from the H.

Oh, oops. Well I'm not too sure where I read that, but someone was raving about the K series, I guess he's just crazy?

K series makes good power. Though I dunno about dropping one into a lude. Waste of money if you ask me. Maybe you bought the wrong car?

Get a Euro-R, get some bolt ons and call it a day.

I most definitely did not buy the wrong car. I love the lude, just trying to learn everything I can. Haven't heard of a Euro-R curse though

It's a Euro-R, bolt ons and tuning. If I remember correctly, fuel cut off was set around 7800.

There's also a great thread somewhere on here about a pretty solid DIY mount for the rear deck between the speakers... I think it's on here at least
